Wool Primary is a small school positioned in the heart of the village of Wool and next to Holy Rood Church. Our relationship with the church and its members is very special to us and we believe our distinctive Christian ethos can be felt as soon as you come through our doors.
Our school vision is: Rooted in the community to grow and flourish, and this is evident in the way we plan our curriculum and create a range of learning opportunities for our children. The Christian values which enable us to achieve this vision are faith, love, respect, perseverance and aspiration. All of these elements are embedded in the language staff and children use everyday in our school life. We have a playground with fitness equipment and a Spiritual Garden with outside seating. In addition to our school field we also run a Forest School provision and love to see children toasting marshmallows around our fire pit or gardening whilst looking for minibeasts! Our newly refurbished School House area has provided us with additional meeting rooms and our IT suite is used by children in their work across the curriculum.
We are incredibly proud of the children at our school and see them all as individuals. We feel it is a privilege to support our pupils as they begin their school journey and we strive to give them the skills and strategies that will enable them to live out their aspirations and become loving, respectful people. Our committed staff strive to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing provision so that all members of our school community can grow and flourish. We work closely with parents and carers to build a positive and effective relationship and love to celebrate milestones and achievements!
