Bovington Primary School

Bovington Primary School is a warm and welcoming school that currently caters for children from Reception up to Year 5 and Year 6 from September 2013. We have achieved outstanding status three consecutive times. In 2006, 2009 and 2012.

In an ever changing world our vision is for our school to provide a warm and welcoming environment for children, staff, parents and the community, in which all are valued and are inspired to learn.

We aim to be a school that has high expectations of its pupils and the adults who work here. There is outstanding teaching and learning that is enjoyable, exciting and progressive, which meets the demands of the curriculum and challenges the individual child. We strive hard to be a school that equips children with the skills for their futures.

Through the School Council and PHSE sessions our children are given a clear voice. Their views and ideas are respected and encouraged to make our school a place of safety, learning and fun. Our School Council have been fully involved in fund raising for our new security fencing and gates, the adventure playgrounds, interactive whiteboards linked to computers in all classrooms, new picnic benches, a wider range of playground toys and new cycle racks.
